All family and friend visitations occur over a video visitation system. There are two means of conducting visitation over the video visitation system, on-site and off-site on demand.  Information for each of these visitation methods is listed below:

On-site Visitation:

  • Visitation is based on a first come first served basis.
  • Anyone wishing to visit an inmate must come to the facility’s Main Lobby for a visit.
  • A visitor must be on the inmate’s visitor list prior to being approved for a visit.

Each visit can be up to a 30-minute duration.

Visitation is closed during Frederick County holidays and closures. A list of these holidays can be found on the Frederick County website.
