Old Dominion ASAP Driver Improvement Clinic & RADEP Provider

Online Driver Improvement Clinic

Old Dominion ASAP is pleased to offer access to an approved 8-Hour Driver Improvement Clinic. This course is designed to help drivers improve their knowledge, skills, and understanding of safe driving practices. The course may be used to satisfy court, DMV, employer, or personal driving improvement requirements, when applicable.

Course Information:

  • 8-Hour Virginia DMV Approved Driver Improvement Clinic
  •  Online format available for convenient completion
  • National Safety Council curriculum
  • Certificate of completion provided upon successful completion
  • Instructional Guide to Enroll

Course Cost: $100.00

Registration: Driver Improvement

During registration, select Old Dominion ASAP as "ASAP Referring Office Name." You do not need to contact this office to register for the online course. You will register, pay, complete the course, and obtain the certificate of completion through this one link. No other online clinics will be accepted. The National Safety Council will email you an official Virginia DMV certificate of completion within 24 business hours following your successful course completion.

 

Old Dominion ASAP is currently working to expand services by offering in-person Driver Improvement Clinics. Additional information, schedules, and registration details will be posted as they become available.

Reckless/Aggressive Driver Education Program (RADEP)

The Reckless/Aggressive Driver Education Program (RADEP) is a 12-hour educational program may be used to satisfy court, for individuals who have been ordered by a court or referred to complete an aggressive driving intervention course.

The program focuses on:

  • Defensive driving techniques
  • Identifying aggressive driving behaviors
  • Understanding risk-taking and decision-making
  • Stress and anger management strategies
  • Safe driving practices

Program Options:

Old Dominion ASAP offers the RADEP program in both online and in-person formats to provide flexibility and accessibility for participants.

The program consists of:

  • 8‑Hour Driver Improvement
  •  4‑Hour Defensive Driving

Program Cost:

  • In-Person: $125 - Payment can be made on Payment Details page or in-person. Our office accepts credit card, debt card, money order, or cashier's check. 
  • Online: $225; During registration, select Old Dominion ASAP as "ASAP Referring Office Name." You do not need to contact this office to register for the online course. You will register, pay, complete the course, and obtain the certificate of completion through this one link. No other online clinics will be accepted. The National Safety Council will email you an official Virginia DMV certificate of completion within 24 business hours following your successful course completion.

Frequently Asked Questions


Do I need a referral to take the Driver Improvement Clinic?

No. Individuals may enroll to satisfy a court requirement, DMV requirement, employer request, or voluntarily for personal driving improvement.

Is the Driver Improvement Clinic available in person?

At this time, Old Dominion ASAP offers an online Driver Improvement Clinic. In-person classes are planned for the future and will be announced on this page.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.

What if my court ordered RADEP?

You must complete the full 12-hour RADEP program to satisfy your court requirement.
